Kickstart your journey with a 1-day online workshop. This will lay the groundwork for managing patients with tracheostomy & laryngectomy.
Next, delve into 14 online reading topics and their associated assessments. These cover the core knowledge needed to manage patients with altered airways.
Along the way, you’ll participate in a series of engaging webinars. Plus, with a local mentor, you’ll gain hands-on skills through clinical sessions recorded in a structured logbook.
Culminating Your Journey:
The program concludes with a comprehensive half-day Final Examination held online. Upon satisfactory completion of all components, including the final examination, you’ll earn your “Certificate in The Management of the Altered Airway (Tracheostomy & Laryngectomy)”. You will have one opportunity to re-sit the final exam for an additional fee.

Admission Criteria:
In their professional practice, applicants must be actively involved in the Management and Care of the Altered Airway (Tracheostomy and/or Laryngectomy). An appropriate professional qualification in your healthcare expertise is required. You should also identify a suitable local mentor/supervisor to aid in the Practical Skills.
