Checklist of what to know and by when:

The Postgraduate Diploma are offered on a part-time basis over one academic year (approximately 9 months).

This is a work based qualification which enables you, through the Rila blended learning delivery, to continue in your usual employment activities. The Blended learning include:

  • Face to face introductory workshops and lectures (UK 1 day, UAE – 2 days).
  • Participation in ELearning which includes reading, knowledge/skills with assessments (online).
  • Mini examination (online).
  • A series of specialist facilitated face to face webinars (online).
  • A series of case facilitated problems (online).
  • A series of video clips and practical sessions with assessments (online).

There will be a final summative assessment/examination session that covers the whole of the programme of study by way of written examination paper.

Final qualification:

This is a Postgraduate Diploma award from University of Plymouth School of Medicine and Dentistry, United Kingdom, which is 120 Level 7 Masters credits and is a formal internationally recognised qualification.

Short Courses
Rila Institute of Health Sciences offer a number of short courses designed for GPs and Nurses, such as Certification in The Management of the Altered Airway (Tracheostomy & Laryngectomy) and Stroke Management
